thanks ... in the mean time I got the ip address changed to what I want and the default gateway so now I'm in using Cisco Manager to be able to administer it ...I've added an admin user too so now it's looking like it's all good. OK I edited the passwords out and shortened it by taking out the "ethernet ports 3 thru 23" which are empty anyway I see the actual ip address is not what I set it at ...it's pointing to my wirteless router not the sonicwall... Is there a setting to change that to point to the sonicwall. I take...

OK ... I printed it out so I could read it carefully and take it step by step and make sure I didn't miss anything. THis time I got thru the whole thing with no errors and it looks like it took it... thank you However when I restarted ...I did get back in and it seemed to take my password etc...

OK I did it and yes i didn't need a cntrl-break...BUT it didn't work... Everything happened just like it said ... and it looked like it worked but when I restarted and went to eneable again ...it asked for the password ...I put in the new password and it didn't work ...;( So I did it a second...
