Anyone out there have any "juice" with Avaya to find out the problem with the 2 second cutoff on these vm releases? Mine is 4.0.18 on HP Proliant 2003 sp2 and does the same.
Customer wants to upgrade switches and vm to 3.2. Upgrade on switches to 3.2.55 went without a hitch but attempt to remove vm pro via the control panel, add/remove gives an error of installation source is not available.

Is auto hold enabled? I had one that if a user paged on all page and then went to another button without hanging up all the phones went nuts.
We disabled auto hold and have not had a repeat as of yet.

Can anyone offer any "gotchas" on so called traditional networking using Qsig across a dedicated T1 for two IP 406 systems? The customer for some reason does not want to use voip and scn (which would be much simpler to provision). Is it safe to assume that the basic programming is much the same...
Switch has 2-4 port analog trunk modules and digital stations. Complaints of sporadic echo on calls. LEC has tested trunks and of course found no problem. The 3.1(29) line form (analog tab) has no field for echo cancellation even though the help button identifies such a field. Ideas anyone?
That does make me cringe. The config file is about 87K but if that is the last resort I will do it. I have a ticket open with Avaya now so I'm waiting to hear from them. (Maybe in this lifetime)
