Having problems installing a flash card reader program.
When I start the installation package, I either get a error then or a couple of mins later- ive een had the dreaded blue screen.
Funny thing is though i have tried installing the same program on Win98 and its fine and it is definate...
Hard drive has no important files on, thats what I meant by empty.
Could you give me a step by step to what you are saying.

when switched on. I have run Scanreg and scan disk and they have now fixed all problems known but message is still appearing. I cannot even access safe mode, only a commmand prompt.

I have tried copying the cd's contents to hard drive, then installing, but no luck.
