Hi, I'm trying to use perfmon under win2k to send out mails based on alert thresholds. I'm executing blat but want to include the alert text in the message subject (via the command line argument). help......how do the arguments work!!!!????!!!
I'm getting the same. I removed the davex.dll and now I am allowed to browse the directory, but cannot use the gui. help!
Incidently, I've got owa running perfectly on another machine and that has the afore mentioned dll still included!

thanks for your reply.....in the end I grabbed a copy of Active Perl and that created all the necessary attributes within IIS. I then renamed the cgi extension to pl and created a URL link to the exe file.

how did you add them in in the firstplace!!??!! there are two ways of doing it. The first is FILE, OPEN OTHER USERS FOLDER. This will open up another window. The second method is to open up services, exchange server and under the ADVANCED tab, add the user account in.

If you are you should have used the move mailbox feature under Admin. You will hopefully have created replica's of the public folders and then...
by default, public folder addresses are hidden from the GAL. If you check the properties of the folder (as mentioned above) you will see the SMTP address. Regardless whether the address is hidden, mail resolution can still be made against that address.

there is no point in running mtacheck with /rd /rp....all you are doing is temporarily removing directory and public messages. They will be resubmitted....and only serves to buy you breathing space if you have horrendous queues.
