Many Thanks WizyWig. I understand exactly. In fact I have just tested PAL/NTSC Converter by Atilla Mezei and this does a great job of converting NTSC to PAL. Thanks again- westrich

Thanks for your rapid response WizyWyg. Having exported the NTSC clip to PAL format as described and when I then play the clip either in preview window or desktop or via DAC-100 to PAL tv I still have jagged edges when images moving horizontally on screen. Static images are OK. It's a pain in...- westrich

When I have an NTSC format AVI in the timeline and export it to PAL video with Microsoft DV PAL compressor the rusult has jagged edges. Is this because the frame size is stretched? What is the best way (settings)to convert NTSC to PAL and retain image quality? Would be most grateful if someone...- westrich
