We use WSUS to patch our servers every month.
I can't see any option in GPO to download and install the patches but do not reboot if user isn't logged on.
Does anyone know how to resolve this or you just have to set a policy of download and dont install, then an admin must log in to start the...

I tried assigning to another drive letter (yes we have mapped drives), but the problem is still the same. I am familier with the mapped drive problem and USB drives. It isnt that this time.

yeah, have checked the power settings, cant find anything that can make a difference.
I agree, may be just the laptop cant deliver that power as a desktop would. Maybe lenovos are like that.

I have a laptop with a PCMCIA firewire card. It works fine. It has 6 pin sockets
When I plug in my ext sound box my pcmcia firewire card doesnt power the box. If I do the same thing on my desktop machine, it powers the box fine. Any ideas why that would be? I tried another pcmcia...
At the moment on our domain, when users start up their comuputers they are taken to the discalimer and then the windows to enter username and password.
How can I force them to have the control alt delete screen at start up? I cant see anything in GPO for this,

yeah, it probably is that. Windows setup does have built in support for alot of HBA drivers, but maybe not this one. I suppose ill have to check out that 1st. cheers

I have just set up a 2 node active/passove cluster and am testing it out.
The cluster set up fine in cluster administrator.
I wanted to test it, so I wrote some files to the shared storage. I then failed over to node 2. when I look at the shared storage on node 2, I dont see the files...

When you run a command that outputs a lot of text from the command console. Which switch can you use so that you can see all the output (each page will stop when screen is filled waiting for user to press button to see next screen)
