I've got a batch file that I need to run from a webpage as administrator. The .cmd file works wonderfully when I run it from a command line as admin, but when I set the directory containing the asp file that is going to run the cmd to require authentication and authenticate as admin, it doesn't...
Here's a fun one. I have a 2621XM that was doing NAT with had F0/0 connected to a cable modem and F0/1 connected to us and a county government routing by way of a secondary address.
Now, I've added another interface with a 16+1 switchcard and I tried moving the internal connections to the...
Well, when I ordered it they said it was what I needed for my router. Now, they are telling me that they don't sell 64meg modules for the XM series. I hate sales people sometimes.

I have a 2621 that came from Cisco with 32meg of DRAM. I bought a 64meg module from Crucial and installed it. The problem is that the router only sees 32meg. It doesn't matter if I have all 96 or 64 installed.
What do I have to do to get the router to see all of the RAM?
Thanks
Mike
I need to take my 32meg 2621 to 64meg so that I can use my new NM-16 module. Is there anything special I need to be looking for? I see CDW has this for almost $800. Is that what I should really expect to pay?
Thanks
Mike
I'm trying to install WinXP onto a drive through an Adaptec 1200A. Text mode setup doesn't see the controler. The computer doesn't have a floppy drive.
The solution given to me was to make a bootdisk that will boot the computer with access to the CDROM drive. This is done with the thought...
I'm trying to get an ASP script to spawn another VBScript. I can run the VBScript manually from command-line, but when I try to get the ASP page to run it, nothing happens. Can anybody tell me what's going on here?
Set oShell = Server.CreateObject("Wscript.Shell")
oShell.Run...

I've got a Cox cable connection that I'm trying to hook a spare 2621 up to. I've got it so it works wonderfully if I put in the address that was DHCPed to my laptop, but the router won't go and get it's own.
I'm running 12.2 so it should be able to do this. But, when I try the show ip...
snootalope,
It looks at the interface when you do the config builder. That speed is correct, remember it works in Bytes not Bits. For instance my T1 is listed at 192k/Bytes per second. And no, unless you want to monitor something else I'd leave everything like you've got it.
