No, the call sits there until it's abandoned. I've copied the script here, I don't write them myself it's done by another department:
GIVE RINGBACK
QUEUE TO NETWORK SKILLSET Busy_Message
WAIT 2
IF QUEUED THEN
REMOVE FROM NETWORK SKILLSET Busy_Message
OPEN VOICE SESSION
PLAY PROMPT VOICE...
We are running a multi-site set-up with SCCS 5 and NCCS 5. Basically a call arrives into Masterscript, the call is processed to it's relevant script, the script queues to network skillset. NCCS checks the sites for longest idle agent, if agent not available plays comfort message and so forth...
I have been tasked to set-up Exchange 2003. Unfortunately I have been out of the IT Support side of things for sometime and need asistance. What are the basic requirements that I need to set-up such a service?. I understand that there are two types of 2003, Standard and Enterprise, what would...
Hi there,
Is there a way that you can set up a network CDN to
distribute calls evenly across 2 sites?.
Incoming calls to both sites, call routing by STD code.
Currently have 2 sites.

I would ensure that if your device is unsupported in ONMS then I would add the vendor address using addvendorid.bat from dos prompt. Once ONMS has added this to it's dbase you can use the following to add an object with autotopology:
You can manually add a device by selecting File, New Object...
You can't achieve this with OTM. The only other way I know of is to write a script in Procomm(or any other relelvant TTY software emulation program). Run it from a PC or server that is synched to an NTP Server.
Why don't you IP enable the Elan side of the Meridian, this way you don't need to buffer any data, it will be streamed to the OTM server for each call record.
Q1, There is a batch file for unsupported devices, if using Windows goto C:\Optivity\NMS\unsupported and run addvendorid.bat. You'll need to enter the vendor id for the unspported device, this is normally the first six values in the MAC address.
Hope this works!!
I have 2 ISDN30 Trunks that are split into a number of routes. Default route is 43 which AC1 uses, does anyone know how to setup a range of extensions to use alternative 44 instead? Basically I want to point extensions 5600-5679 to route 43, and extensions 5680-5699 to route 44. I have a...
Has anyone experienced problems with NMS 9.2 listing alarms for Authentication Failures on Bay Routers. I have 30 routers of which NMS is reporting this problem on 20 of them. I have checked the community table - correct, checked the logs on the routers via site manager - nothing listed for...
We experienced the same problem - caused us some confusion. Basically it happens when an extension tries transfers a call, if the other extension doesn't answer, goes through to voicemail, and the extension tranferring the call doesnt end the transfer correctly i.e. they don't tranfer or go...
First of all I would only suggest that you use this port if you are using MAT6 or Optivity Telephone Manager, the port will be useless without these applications. Your 61 has two CPUs, 0 and 1, each of these will have a DB25 male which you can insert a AUI to RJ45 transceiver. In the nightly...
Has anyone or know's how to set-up an e-mail application to send traps from NMS?, I know that NMS doesn't come with an e-mail bolt-on and that you can use Openview. I was wondering if there was another way?
