First of all, update to version 9.1. Second, the problem is covered in veritas' knowledge base and fixed the problem I was having. http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/248709.htm and http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/238116.htm You can stop and start the services. ARCSERV 2K IN W2K
I have been fighting my ARCserve[evil]off and on for about 3 months. My suggestion is to do what I am doing. Uninstall all ARCserve components, install Veritas Backup Exec[bigsmile], and be somewhat free of troubles- wbaker
