I know for a fact that:
1. Group on server is not checked.
2. The query on it's own via Query Manager works fine.
3. I'll remove groups and try again. I think if I supress that grouping the error message goes away. Michael Doig

I don't have a formula yet because I don't know how to accomplish this. When the previous post asked me to choose summary options after right clicking the formula field, I right click "a different" formula field so I could investigate what summary options do.

I can get my grouping and output peachy. At runtime I get an error 523. Crystal reports this as an invalid group condition.
I found a site that said grouping on date fields cause this. It made no recommendation.
Is there anyway to get around this? I have yet to find a site with an actual solution. I have a report called Credit Card Deposits. What it does is grab all transactions that have a CC transaction type, then lists the cards and what their respective sales were for the day.
