    Mike, One option, which I used on my Vista system, is to get an I/O card with a serial port. The card I bought has a parallel and serial port. I/O cards are cheap but you need an available slot in your machine. Walt

    Dear Johnnie, Thanks, but I'm not having any problems now. I'm running Vista Business, by the way, but I don't think this matters. I installed 2.0b from a download from Intel's site (I think). Syncing with my Rex & with 2.0b on my XP laptop has not been a problem. Regards, Walt

    How do I set the format of the DIR command in DOS under WIN2000? I tried SET DIRCMD=/P /O:GDNE in the CONFIG.NT file and in the AUTOEXEC.NT file. Neither worked.
