aix comes with tivoli agents installed (but not configured). you should configure the last.cfg file (usually, you can find this in /../lcf/dat/1) add a line 'lcs.logininterfaces=gatewayip+9494' this line will instruct the endpoint to report on you existing tivoli gateway.
i hope this helps.
yes, you can create consoles for your different users. just create filters within your tec server. these filters can reflect hosts that you want to group. these filters can then be group to a tec console. assign these consoles to a user/s.
zaianeimed,
what user ID are you using? usually the current logged user during the installation of framework is the default user. if you are using Administrator, make sure that you login as 'Administrator' (without the quotes), tivoli is case sensitive.
hope this helps.

patlim88,
i've tried it before. the installation of dmwhc installs a new websphere server and this will definitely will cause conflicts with the existing websphere server installed. both websphere server will be unable to run.
marcelo,
have you linked the java on the remote linux box? if not, try distributing the java 1.3 for linux that comes with the itm package. use either the wdmdistrib command or sis to send the java package to the remote linux box. then, re-disbribute the RMs.
hope this helps.
