    set your classpath right in the batch file startup see that JAVA_HOME path is set right try this dont run startup instead just run tomat and then see the error that is getting displayed. reg viv

    Context & manager

    All your class files have to be in a folder 'classes' in WEB-INF folder if you are accessing a servlet put the class files in that folder.
