What you may want to do is import your text as a photoshop project (.psd) rather than a (.jpg) which you can do by saving the text in photoshop. Once you import your text.psd bring it over the video to the place where you'd want your text to start scrolling from, making sure your text is...
If you render your movie as an .avi you've now made those flames into a movie so it takes the black as its backround, what you should try is to import your movie into the same project window as the flames, make sure that on the timeline the VIDEO is under the FLAMES making the video the flames...
Im not sure if this is what your looking to do,but once your two objects come together, highlight both objects in the time line then go to layer/pre-compose... and what that does is it lyncs both objects so that your able to move them as one.
Thanks, it rendered my project into an avi. I guess from now on i'll have to render that way rather than through export, but as long as it renders. Thanks again.
I somehow lost my options to export on AE6. It now only lets me export as UM2, SWF and ogg. I already tried to uninstall and re-install, but I still don't have those options. I need to export as .avi. It used to have them before.
Can anyone help me or give some ideas? I would truly appreciate it.
