Lost 10yrs of data plese help
I know i could use software to recover my data. I presume this would mean I would have to 're-initialize' the hard disk in Windows Disk Management? I am scared that if I reinitialize it and use recovery software that all the filenames will be lost. Is there anyway I can just write a new MBR to them?- vinokirk

Lost 10yrs of data plese help
Hello, I was trying to put UBCD (ultimate boot cd) on a usb stick using the supplied 'ubcd2usb' but it didn’t work, so I thought I would use the command 'ubcd2usb f: h: d -1', but nothing appeared to happen….until I restarted. Some how it has made my 1.5TB hdd with all my stuff on from the past...- vinokirk
