Sony DRU500A DVD writer does not recognize DVD media
I downloaded and installed the new firmware from SONY (2.0E). I removed Nero Burning Rom 5.0. I downloaded DVDINFO (http://www.nicsoft.com.au/dvdinfo.html) which returned: Command 0adh returned: Sense 02h - Not Ready, ASCQ 00h - Medium incompatible. Sony DRU500A DVD writer does not recognize DVD media
I recently installed a Sony DRU500A DVD Read/Write. CD media is recognized but no DVD media is recognized. Running 450 Pentium III w/256 Meg ram. The drive was working perfectly before I installed Turbotax 2002. Removed Turbotax and the C_Dilla protection and the thing still will not...- Victorharris
