A couple of suggestions:
Ensure that ip forwarding is enabled. (HKLM:LM\System\CCSServices\TCP/IP\Parameters\IP enabled router 0x1)
Routing table: ensure that the 0.0.0.0. network points to external card.
Ensure that the external card does not have dynamic DNS enabled.
I recommend Trend Server Protect. We actually use Intrascan for email and Officescan for workstations too. All manageable through IIS console. Works great! www.antivirus.com

Yes, Account lockout, and password resets are replicated instantly. If you make any other changes you must "Replicate Now" from Sites and Services for the change to take effect. (even then you want to wait 5-10 minutes)

While doing a practice restore of a large database (10gb) the file/backup server practically ground to a halt. Timeouts all over the place. I noticed that it was quite slow locally too and the restore was taking place ONTO the backup servers disk itself so it wasn't a network bottleneck...

Our 2000 Active Directory network is still experiencing a lot of 8003 Browse election errors. I would like to disable the Browse service on all 2000 clients. Microsoft say that the browse service is still included in 2000 for backward compatibility but nowhere have I found a "best...

Yes, the Veritas site suggest that you use the Domain Administrator account to start all Backup Exec services. I did that I while back and it worked. The demon is back though. We changed the Domain Admininstrator password and adjusted the services to match. I think this is where my problems...
Perhaps run a script to change an ip address. If we know where it is stored (ie. an inf file) we may find a way of changing it in an automated fashion.
In effort to accomplish the above, we have been searching for where NT gets its ip information from. Not in registry, and also did an advanced search of all drives.
Anyone have any idea where the ip address is stored?
