different binary file sizes
Why would the same binary files (on different servers) in the $ORACLE_HOME/lib directory have different sizes? Both servers have Solaris 8 and Oracle 8.1.7.3 installed. Their SQL versions, etc are also the same. Thank you John- ut83

ORA - 12154 TNS could not resolve service name
Hi I am having a problem that should not be this hard to resolve. I installed Oracle 8i on a Compaq Deskpro running Windows 95. I had no problems during the installation. I used pre configured tnsnames.ora and a sqlnet.ora files I checked the path names in autoexec.bat and that seems to be...- ut83

Oracle WebDB
When installing WebDB, my application is terminated due to a problem with Net8. I already installed Personal Oracle 8i, Forms and Reports, and Oracle JDeveloper and Oracle Net8 is also installed. Has anyone experienced this problem? Best Regards, John Ellis- ut83
