What can I do to stop computer searching floppy drive randomly? It seems to try to read floppy drive all the like when shutting down, browsing internet etc.

What are IOSUBSYS files? I have one missing :- mxlstack.vxd

I get this message every time I try to use my scanner:-fatal exception OE at 0028:COO5448F in VXD VDMAD(01) + 000006f7 I tried reinstalling the drivers but it still wont work! can anyone help me out on this one?
