i have a script that when an alarm is recieved it uses mailx to send an email to my pager the problem is metrocall doesn't seem to like that my host is reporting as host.mydomain.com it seems strange to me. what will Cwmydomain.com do to the .cf file
Actually i did that in my .cf file and it changed the way i see the mail comfing into my exchange account but i still get the same error code from metrocall when i try to email them directly. Thanks for the help any further thoughts?

My linux machine won't seem to start up it keeps hanging at "bringing up loopback interface" everything else starts up fine and gives an OK till this point. Any ideas? is there a way that i can start in like single user mode or safe mode?

When I run service httpd restart it says "stopping httpd [fail] Starting httpd [ok] I guess it isn't shutting down right. Traffic is forwarding to the box from my router when I run tcpdump port 80 I do see Bi-directional traffic from an external host hitting port 80. htis is a brand new...
