    Suggestions for training books?

    Looking for a couple new books to teach myself some more about Visual Basic / Lisp programming. I'd like to get more familiar with the way these programs interact. I'd prefer one that is specifically for Autocad, already have a few of the basic VB texts. I've already ran the "hello world"...

    OVERKILL command

    Purge, yes. The layer filter is something I'll look into, thanks for the pointer. Turned off most of the options for the Overkill command, seems to work okay. Good drafters get 17 or 18 hits on their drawings...while others have 980 some extra objects in the files.

    Just noticed from the documentation that it makes changes to objects in the drawings, joining them, "simplifying" them... With all the auto generated objects/items in Civil 2004, it seems kind of risky to let this thing run. Just wondering if there were any horror stories about this command yet.

    Looking for ways to trim down file size a bit to save server space. Anyone familiar with the OVERKILL command and what it's options are? Looks like it could be dangerous, it modifies entities in the drawings. Suggestions?
