I get an error message when creating a DR Arcserve boot kit for a windows 2000 sp4 system. I created 4 boot disk using the makebt32 from the sp4 CD then ran the wizard from Brightstor - create boot kit...it ask for the first setup boot disk that i created...i click start and get this error...

I had the same exact problem with my 2000 system and tried everything Microsoft recommended without any success.
Well after a long weekend and a long thread both systems have been resolved (XP and 2000).
For those using this as a resource:
XP fix: By choice I decided to just low level format my hard drive and do a fresh install of XP. Make sure that when you purchase a new motherboard and processor...
it's the emergency repair option...and man it still isn't working it runs through the repair and comes up with 2 files that I can not repair...i reboot after the repair and it still blue screens after the post screen and windows loader where you can press F8.
