I want our login box, once it pops up, to be the only thing you are able to click on and type in...how do I do this with a JFrame and is this possible? (something along the same lines as setModal, but with a Jframe instead). Thanks in advance
i have a splash screen launch at my program startup...it basically is a JWindow with a image and progress bar and status message which gets updated from time to time. during startup a login box(JFrame) pops up over the splash screen and you enter a user and pwd and hit OK and the login goes...

Does anybody know of a macro or what not to generate comment blocks for functions w/in Visaul C++ .net? I have seen marcos like this for linux w/in emacs and gvim. Any ideas would be great.

Yep, that fixed it...detect and repair solved the problem. I figured it was a bigger problem than that, but sometimes the simple things will fix the problem. Thanks for all the help.
