Ok...I cured the problem. I had to download winzip and extract the file to a separate folder. For some reason the self extractor wouldn't do this. All is well>
I have tried that already... the self extractor pops up and says all files were extracted and then the install instructions pop up. The driver still can't be found to install. It is an .exe file for the driver.
There is no driver for the Canon BJC-5000 printer within windows 2k Pro. I have downloaded the win 2k driver from the Canon web site and when I click browse and go to where it's supposed to be, it doesnt show up. I can find it with explore and have even downloaded to a floppy and the desktop...
