Have you patched your server & workstation with 2000sp2. If not, you should. If that still does not work try starting the DNS service on the server and then typing the DNS ip address on your workstations. That seemed to work for me. Good luck anyway!!!

This does seem like a hard nut to crack and i can't think of anything but upgrading the bios!!! have you tried that yet? If not do so. I had something like that(not exactly but close) and the bios upgrade did the trick for me. Good Luck !!! ;)

I've always deleted as many of them as i can (in Windows) by just selecting them all and hitting DELETE. The ones left over are usually currently in use (proberbly by outlook i.e. Word). Close all apps and then you should be able to get rid of all of them. Hope that helps !

I've had this a few times, the best thing to do (if you hav'nt done it already) is uninstall the dial-up adapter and tcp/ip and then restart and simply install them again. If that does'nt help check what Roger said (what protocal to use). Hope that sorts your problem :-)
