Citrix Printing Problem - Print Spooler Service Stops on Servers

We ONLY use native drivers to server 2003. If it's not there, we don't install it. First we map all the printer drivers to something else if we can find a compatible native driver... ie hp color laser 5500 to a 4500. If we don't find one that way, We use the Citrix Universal Printer and the...

Garbled printing using ICA client 10.0 for XP.

He should just have to do a printer mapping in the management console. That way you can leave the client driver as is for local printing and it will mount as printer driver X when the user prints from citrix.

Garbled printing using ICA client 10.0 for XP.

Are you using native drivers on your citrix server? If not, you should be. Map the client's printer to a native 2003 printer driver and it should go away.

    Imaging

RIS would be the most cost effective as long as you have a server to spare and the space. It's a little more difficult to get going, but I really like it compared to other imaging solutions. Otherwise go with sysprep with Ghost/Acronis and the like...

Can you load a registry hive with VBS?

Thanks guys. I've already used reg.exe to accomplish what I need. I was just hoping there was a way to do it with VBS script. The VBS script posted uses the reg command as well.
