Config. Opt. 81c PRI TIE to CISCO Catalyst 6000 Gateway (Call Manager)

I am having this same exact issue. I tried to set the PRI card to a tie line but got SCH0520 error. SCH0520 NI-2 basic call only supports COT/DID route. When CBCR =3D NO and IFC =3D NI2, route type has to be either COT or = DID, TKTP =3D COT/DID. This drove me nuts for about an hour...

DTI/PRI card with Cisco T1 Card - outbound call forward to operator

I have a system where a Cisco router/Voip network talks to an Option 11 switch thru a DTI/PRI card. Basically the Voip cisco phones can use the trunk on the Nortel to call the Nortel phones internally or make local/long distance calls. This system has worked well for a couple of months using...

Tracking digits going into a trunk (LD 80?)

I have been told you can see what digits are going in or out a tie line... I thinking I am sending certain digits to the voicemail system but I am not getting the desired response. Someone told me I need to use LD80... How can I track what digits that the voicemail is getting (it is an...

So if the voicemail system is 4218 and the extension of my voip phone is 4332, and if I have created a Meridan Mail box of 4332, what digits does the Meridian mail system expect to see to let a caller leave a message? thanks

Cisco Voip accessing Meridian Mail thru E&M line

I have a few E&M ports from a Cisco router hooked to a Nortel switch. My IP phones off the Cisco router can make calls, receive calls, etc. What I am trying to do is to get the IP phones to use the meridian mail. I am have a hard time getting the voip extension to automatically rollover...

Simple routing question - how do I tell what route is used dialing 9

Thanks for the great response. This forum is great. Obviously I am new to the Nortel stuff. It seems like the Nortel manuals are very technical and in depth but lacking on the real world situation stuff. This forum has helped a lot with that. I hope I get to the point where one day, I...

Simple routing question - how do I tell what route is used dialing 9

We have a phone switch that is starting to integrate with a Cisco VOIP system that is connectected through TIE lines. So if I have an Extension 2100, how do I tell whether that goes over the TIE, stays internal to the Nortel, etc. thanks
