Has anyone adjusted the internal date/time on these devices. The default date is January 1, 1980. I would like to make this current, but do not see anywhere on the phone to set the date/time. I have added an SNTP server value to the 46xxsettings.txt file but it doesn't seem to pick this up...
You can do this through the use of Caller Applications. Basically the Caller App would be built like a bulletin board or Announce Only mailbox. You would have to move the mailbox to a COS that utilized this Caller App and then they would have to record an announcment versus their standard...
New update...since the problem appeared to be only related to Audix, I decided to look at IIS. Stopping and restarting all of the IIS services fixed this issue for me on all of my servers.
So, the necessary steps are:
MSS - Apply SP6 (version 32.7)
MAS - Run tzedit.exe (including steps j & k...
This appears to function different for Audix versus Aria. I left a message in a mailbox and checked with an Audix COS. The header was an hour off. I changed the COS for that mailbox to Aria, worked perfectly. Changed back to Audix and it showed up an hour off again.
Not much for new updates...
I'm not sure if that is the case or not right now. All of the system clocks agree with the right time, it is just the timestamp associated with the header. My initial response from Avaya was that it is a wide-spread problem and high level management is involved in finding the resolution. It...
We applied the latest SP6 to the MSS and the Microsoft changes to the MAS, but are having some issues this morning. The system clocks all show the proper time, but when reviewing messages the time in the header is an hour earlier. Interestingly the subscriber activity log shows the proper time...
Unfortunately all of these phones are in one HQ building and therefore on the same network region. I did list all registered stations before and after. That really helps our technicians to locate the phones that are down rather than relying on trouble tickets.
Avaya has said the same thing...
What methods has everyone used when they decide to upgrade IP phone firmware? This past weekend I used the command "reset ip-stations ip-phones ipaddr XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY" and found that not all of the phones in the address range actually reset. Has anyone else seen this? I used...
I know that when I originally installed the web client on the Win2k3 server, by default our IIS was set up to not serve certain types of files, ASP being one of them. You may need to make some configuration changes if you are able to view some pages but not others. I don't remember all of the...
You do the administration through the web. For admin go to http://yourwebserverIPaddress/webmsg/admin. I think the login is "admin" and password is "admin1". Once you have done that, go to http://yourwebserverIPaddress/webmsg/scripts/start.asp to log into your mailbox.
Our 3.0 upgrade software and equipment arrived but it will be a few weeks before we do the upgrade on our test system. In the meantime, I wanted to try to get a head start on the web based subscriber options, but I'm not sure where to install them from. The online docs made it look like the...
I had two phones that had the "FTP server can not back up message" and they were pretty much locked up until I moved them back down to 2.4. I think I attributed that problem to a DNS issue because of the way that I was trying to test. I haven't had that issue on any other phones since I...
I am having very similar issues, but it is somewhat inconsistent. On phones that are at firmware 2.4 already, when they load this new settings file they show the new FTP server, but are disabled. If however I totally clear the phone and load the 2.6 firmware, then they go to backup enabled. I...
