A+ vs MCSE/MCSA?
I do not know your background so...... A+ is a good stepping stone for the MCSE, but they are totally two different animals. A+ is good for people that know hardware ins and outs. Get it to see what you are getting into MCSE is much, much, much more difficult versus the A+. My recommended...- twilliamsen

CCNA 640-607 ON 17 SEP 2003
I took a classroom course on this a few years ago, and it took a while for it to sink in(since I am coming from the OS side). CCNA or MCSE?
I don't know what your background is, but both certifications are difficult for beginners in the networking industry. MCSE is tougher now than the NT 4.0 track, and to add on top of it, its now 7 tests, not 6 like it was. CCNA is even tougher with you need to think, use your math brain...- twilliamsen
