    Norstar StarTalk 185 wont initialize

    MarvO, The StarTalk is set for 3 digit DN. This was removed from service and working. It passes evry test on the RS232 maint program. The 824 is set for 3 digit also. It seems like the maint program would detect a problem, does it to you? Thanks, Tom

    MarvO, Thanks for your response! The DN length is set at 3 for the 824 DR5 KSU and StarTalk Version 2.0.3a. Could it be a compatibilty issue? Tom

    Is there a way to initialize a StarTalk from the Maint term screen (RS232)? It looks like its running fine and passes all of the tests, but the 824 DR5 KSU does not recognize it. Any Ideas?
