booting to command line with NT
There is third party software that you could use to boot to a command prompt in NT. "NTFS Pro" or something like that. T- tsklein1

Mcaffee virus scan hangs NT4 on restart/shutdown
I am using version 4.5.1 SP1. I have tried reinstalling the app and I have upgraded to the most recent Dat files. It is still hanging. I think this is more of an NT problem similar to when you unplug the network from an NT box during shutdown and it hangs. Thanks! T- tsklein1

Any one have a solution for this? So far I've been able to disable the system scan portion of it and the pc will then shutdown. Obviously I will need a better answer since I can't very well leave the system scan shut off indefinitely. Thanks!!! T- tsklein1
