    Installed Partner mail VS with 4 port card and it worked fine. used ports 40-43 in hunt group. All is well.

    I will be back onsite this afternoon with a 2nd recondidtioned Partner Mail and 4 port license card. I'll post either way, but if this one doesn't work I'll post the list of cards and slots. Thanks all!

    i dialed extensions 29-32 and each one answered: "Welcome to Partner Messaging, system is in test mode". i will try reseating the port card next. Thank you all for your responses.

    I'm not making it easy because i'm old and i can't remember what cards are in it which it why i wasn't more specific.

    it is a 5 slot carrier with processor in the middle, 1 line card, and two line/extension cards. I put the voicemail in the only empty slot (from left to right 1-5)5. Then I pulled out the card in slot 1 and tried it there with the same result.
