Hi mscallisto thanks for the ms posting..we thought that this problem may apply in this case also..but one thing sticks out that makes it very different. we are accessing shared folders through outlook and not the internet??? do you think that this realy can be related..your thoughts!!!

I am trying to install my applications icon into my outlook bar. When i am using windows NT and i can easily drag and drop from all the usual places...however when i am using windows98 no joy whatsoever and yet i can install folders and directories into the bar....i have the computers revved...

there wa no disablement flag in bios to for the ps2 connection, howevr i am using a ps2 to serial mouse coverter which i have found out is not converting.. have therefore been able to resolve the problem....<br> <br> thanks for your attention masterRacker!!!
