    In this case you should connect the call. The Progress Indicator is most likely indicating that Tones are available inband for example Ring Tone.

    Do not forget that the GSM links number from 0-0. So 0-6 is in fact the 7th Group Switch Link. Or the 3rd Individual on the 2nd GJUG.

    Short answer is no. The MD110 does not support MEW on ISO QSig, I think this is because the standard for this may not have yet been completed.

    It sounds as though the PSTN Provider in fact sending the whole 8 digits. If this is the case you will need to add an entry in NUTRI to strip the first 5 digits off.

    Set the Speed and Duplex as follows. configure port (Port No.) auto off speed (10 or 100 or 1000) duplex (half or full) For example to configure port 22 as 10 Full Duplex. "configure port 22 auto off speed 10 duplex full"

    Also check to ensure that you have the correct codec settings for both the phone and the MD110. You need to ensure that the codec priority is the same at both ends.

    Board name for support VoIP

    If you want to run IP Extns you need minimum BC11. If you want to run IP Extns and IP Tielines / Trunks you need BC12. The board used for both is an ELU32. You do not order the Board, you order the appropriate licenses and any hardware is supplied with the Licenses.

    R4x Versions of Firmware and R3x versions of Firmware will not talk to each other unless the following line is entered in the Config File. CompatibleWithR3applications=Yes

    I believe IPNS stands for Inter-PABX Network Signalling. It should be used when connecting between 2 x PABX'x and Using QSig. The other Options for this Parameter are Usually ETSI and Country Specific Protocol for connecting Using ISDN to the PSTN.

    One of the things that Rad Mux's introduce is and increase in the latency of the signalling between the Lims. If I rememeber right Rad Mux's are not supported on versions below BC10. There were some corrections in the LPU5 Firmware to overcome this issue. Try upgrading the LPU5 to the latest...

    You need to check the following: - If they are Analogue or Digital, D3D4 of SERV must be set to an odd number to allow this, Diversion Bypass. If they are Generic Extns then D4 of CDIV needs to be 1.

    To make a basic call and receive a call you can use other types of phones, but if you want supplementary services like Transfer etc you will need the Ericsson IP Phones. The basic call is by the standard H323 but supplementary services are proprietary.
