I'd like to use schtasks to change the password for the accounts used in Scheduled Jobs. I have 2 questions:
1. for /tn must you use the .job extension?
2. for /tn is it case sensitive? (ex. is Reboot.job the same as reboot.job)
Looking for some free software that will scan a directory and give a graphical view of files based on last access date. Want to scan approx. 600gb of data and get a graphical breakdown of say the number of files not accessed in 1 yr etc.
Looking for tools to determine the following:
- users who have their passwords the same as their userid's
- admin/administrator accounts with blank passwords
Who do I eliminate the logging of event id's 576 on our Win2k server? I don't see anything in the local or domain security policies that tells me these events should be logged. Obviously I'm missing something.
Also, anyone know of a good application to track what files/directories a user access?
When I click on File, New it takes a long time before Corel responds. Same when clicking on the printer icon when trying to print a document....any ideas would be appreciated. Other programs (Word/Excel) work fine.
When installing Office2K on a WinXP Pro pc it reaches a certain point and asks for the Windows XP Service Pack 1 cd (with no option to pick a location), we insert the cd but it says its the wrong cd....Any help would be appreciated
We have 2 Win2k Domain Controllers, one of which we'll call ServerA. ServerA is being replaced by a new server (ServerB). ServerA is just holds data (user storage) My plan to cutover is as follows:
- move all data from ServerA to the ServerB
- demote ServerA from a DC to a member server
- rename...
Had replaced a bad 3200 ctrl with a new one and after rebooting received a 1789 Post error (drive not responding...drive had orange light). I hit f1 which disabled the drive array. So now when I put in a new drive and go into the array config. utility it says there are no array ctrls detected...
