Search Assistant Toolbar ?
Thanx gpalmer for advice. I have looked at FAQ779-5240 and downloaded the following freeware - spy sweeper; bazooka; adaware; xoftware; BHODemon; and Toolbarcop. Unfortunately, none of the above are able to remove the pesty search assistant toolbar next to system tray. I have also tried turning...- tpp007

Search Assistant Toolbar ?
I got it too 10.07.04. I've tried spy sweeper - no luck. Searched the Windows and Programs folders - nothing that stands out. No idea how it got there. It reinstalls itself to the taskbar after each boot - real annoying. tom penny- tpp007
