I am running XP Home Edition.. My son did something to the system. It boots up ok, but when he clicks his 'user name' to log in, it goes to a blue screen and then stays there. The dumb question is, how do you go into safe mode on an XP machine? I've tried F8. Thx

Aired' out all heat sinks and fans, still have same problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks

I have an emachine that's having problems starting up. When I power it on, I can hear the fans run for about 10 seconds and then everything shuts down. I thought it was the power supply so I replaced but I still have the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to try a company that provides all of the connectivity and routing for you. One that I know of is 'ACT video teleconferencing', in Denver, CO.
