Hibernation disappeared after program installation
Hi Jenny, it were about 15 programs with difficult configuration, and it took me some while to find out that the hibernate does not work, so I would like to avoid this! Thanks anyhow! Tom PS: I would rather guess a driver thing.- tomseeger

Ping Error 65?
Hi, when you Pinged the router, did you ping it by name or by IP Address? If you pinged by name, try to ping it by IP Address. Tom- tomseeger

Hibernation disappeared after program installation
After Installing a bunch of programs my hibernation features disappeared. The button in the control panels 'energy options' tab disappeared also. The latest bios, reinstalling of Thinkpad Utilities or SP3 didn't bring a change. Any Ideas? Tom- tomseeger

nt name resolution user related problems
Hello, I have a NT4 Wkst SP6a machine in a workgroup. Name resolution works perfect while you have administrator privileges. If you log in with user rights, the name resolution fails. You can still ping with IP addresses, but with hostnames or netbios names fails. Nslookup still works. What may...- tomseeger
