we have an old P4 with XP pro on the current IP403...
this runs IP Admin and our wallboard Telestat 7 software.
is the idea to ditch windows and load Linux so we get the "Avaya has the Linux apps for this - free of charge
so i just google a load of ^&*%* #irony......

The IP500 comes with 2ch VM but whats required to give the client - Avaya Callback Assist ?

is this one license ?
does this require other licenses - maybe PC softconsole to fascilitate the callback via CTI ?

hi guys, i bought a IP403 DT 3.0 (40) used back in 2009 and you lot gave me nudge into self setup and config but im now looking at the IP500.... i only have 2x isdn /4ch and 8 ext (plan to use the 5410)
whats the IP500 software like ? more of the same or more involved ?

hello. we are trying to share the IP 403 for two related companies in one office so we can make internal calls. The CCU is serviced with 3 ISDN2 and 3 POTS lines. one company has 2 ISDN2 and 1 POTS. we want to force the line used by each extension during outgoing calls so each company is not...
i have just found "Ingenuity Telestat" for £250 for 8 users ! i have a free weeks trial but need to connect via tcp/ip. i am asked for IP and Port.... any idea on port ? a quick look shows 8080 for SMDR. right ?
