There are a ton of reserved words that you cannot use in MSAccess (and most db's), 'Date' being one of them. Check out this link on Macromedia's page:

First you need to create a System DSN on the webserver and point it to the location of the database. Create another DSN (local or system) on the PC on which you are doing the development; give it the same name and point it to a copy of the database on your PC (within your local site folder)...
The IP mapping is handled by the firewall. The firewall will have a rule that directs traffic from the outside address 123.4.5.6 to 222.3.4.5, which is an address in the DMZ. Traffic in the DMZ can then be routed to the internal number 20.1.2.3, which in your case would be your intranet server.
As your intranet probably has an internal IP address, you'll have to obtain an outside address and map it to the internal number. Authentication and encryption should also be considered, as you probably only want internal users to access this site. A SecureID token-card solution would provide...
