I work on my server remotely and need to restart. Any time you update it asks you to restart. There are a number of reasons to restart and not power down.
If I "restart" my Windows 2000 server, it will hang at the blinking curser (bios?). f I power it down and then start it it starts up fine. I have searched the knowledge base and am unable to find anything useful. Any ideas?
This message appears when outlook is unable to immediatly connect to exchange. It would appear that your high traffic is the cause, it might be time to think about upgrading.
I just did the SP2 for Exchange 5.0. I don't know if it is related or not. When the user opens Outlook new messages are arriving. But within about 30 seconds Outlook freezes and I have to ctrl-alt-del to get out. I can open an email when I first open Outlook but then after the initial 30...
I am using Exchange 5.0 sp 2 and NT 4.0 sp5. From the messages in the Event Viewer it appears that someone has been using my Server to send spam. How do I stop this from happening. Someone mentioned stop message relay?
