check the DNS servers the workstation is connecting to. at least one of them must be a domain controller.
assume that the DC is running DNS and it is hosting the various DNS entries for 2000 domain controllers. this will happen automatically when the DC is promoted and DNS is installed...

if you are running a kix script have it skip RAS.

this way you can avoid dialup users from installing the SMS client. this way you can keep the RAS subnets in the site boundaries.
