I have noticed that with AGP slots there seems to be two different types of slots, the cards of one will fit into the other but not the other way around. But when buying an AGP card how do I know which type is which? I have on motherboard that says use 1.5v cards only, and only one of the types...

This is complecated, so i will start at the begining... In windows XP I have a partition for my root directory(c:\) and a partition mounted as a directory for programs (C:\Program Files) I want to be able to mount these partitions in a similar way in Linux, but the fstab file will not recogonize...

I have installed knoppix (3.7(?)) on my Sony Vaio (PCG-F450), now I would like to know if there is a driver out there somewhere for the TV-out on the NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV video card. I attempted using nVidia TV-out included for the fun of it, but no such luck there.

There is no error message windows just restarts the computer, just where the logo should go away, and repeats, and repeats... When looking at the Knoppix shutdown messages it does not list my Windows partition as being umounted, just the Linux, and Knoppix does not automount the Windows...
