    Hi, Thanks for this but with a traditional trunk, if the other end of the circuit went out of service, the Hipath would take the trunk down in response. I would have expected the channel to go out of service when the SIP destination went out of service due to the SIP OPTION monitoring.

    Check in Advanced Audio settings in Jabber. You can change the order of preference for the audio devices. I suspect Jabber is picking another microphone as the source.

    In a duplex setup, normally it is a rather unusual 3 disk RAID1 setup. Usually CCA has 2 disks and CCB is 1 disk.

    Internal or external calls? One way audio or no audio at each end? The RTP voice packets flow directly through between the endpoints. Check that IP traffic is routable between all subnets which have SIP clients / handsets.. Check firewalls for blocked RTP.
