In addition to the two above posts, I'd recommend getting a linksys hub as well as 10/100 ethernet cards. Linksys has a very good rep with their parts as well as customer support.
Well I'm having my father take it to his office and have the tech people there take a peek at it for they have more resources then I can access. I hope they can test those two pieces for me..... If I find out that it's one of the two the better business bureau will be getting a call.
None of these have worked so far. I thought of another possible option can you tell me the probability of this working. I'm thinking of replacing the internal clock battery. Anyone think this will/could be the problem?
I did take out the switch in that computer and used it in this one i'm currently on with out any problems. Do you think that it could be the mother board and/or chip and how could i test that? It's a slot A chip/mobo.
