Hi All I have got a Domino 5.10 server where I need to put the password in everytime I start the Domino Server I would like it not to ask for the password. Any Ideas ?? Tesh

Not really, as its the Sam database I believe that is stopping you. How many users you got ??

Well in theory you should be OK as long as you Add all the PC names. but I wouldn't bet on it. Best to visit a few PC's afterwards and check they made it over. If they haven't just add them in like you normally would :) Tesh

If its a new network you can create the clients on the server. but you'd be losing all your user info by building a new network and not migrating. but with a new network you just add the computernames to AD and thats all but you'd have to make sure things like domain etc. are set on the client...

Well I think the same about there customer service. As for our new laptops were only going to get Toshiba's there more expensive but rarely die or break down. I have had the same one for 3 years and its taken a lot of knocks in its time. :) Tesh

Its a Sony :( We have had one do the same it seems that the Contoller boards inside go. I also know that our hardware maintenance company have stopped supporting them as there expensive to repair when the boards go. The System board is in 3 parts. Tesh

What server is it ? I would suggest contacting your server manufacturer as it sounds like one of your raid disks is in need of being rebuilt. If yous is a dell you can see what disk has failed as all the disk cases have there own LED's all you need to do is take it out and replace it then it...
