Thanks for all the tips! I finally solved the problem by checking "Use Microsoft Word to edit emails messages" under options > mail format.

You should try going to the server and checking to make sure it is pointing to the correct DNS server. That always works for me.

By chance do you use active directory? I know how to do it through active directory.
