i have tried with rsop. apparently there are no software restrictions policy.
so i have tried to set the software restriction policy allowing users (in users configuration) to run calc.exe by hash.
no way.
now i have tried to do the same for computer (in computer configuration).
still waiting...
yes, simple domain users can't run it on their workstation.
Clients run windows xp.
when u try to run calc.exe, system inform u that a software restriction policy does not permit to run it.
but there's no software restriction policy.
hi
i have deployed a windows 2003 domain controller.
i don't understand why simple domain users cannot run windows calculator.
i have no software restriction policy in active directory...
ok. but how can i set an ip address in the Alias(CNAME) mask?
it ask me
-alias name (uses parent domain if left blank)
-fully qualified domain name (FQDN) for target host
i need clients points to an ip address when search a specific host (that does not belong to my domain!)
We have a win2003 domain controller. In our lan, pc clients use a host file to connect 4 specific external servers (that do not belongs to our domain).
How can i use DC to "replace" the host file?
i have a vpn on a cisco router 2801, via one DT2048 (connected to one serial port). The bandwidth is 2Mbit.
I'd like to double bandwidth.
So i added another DT2048, connected to router through second serial port.
Is it possible to use simultaneously both DT to double band?
