4merAvaya, Is this just for v12 cause I can certainly do it for v11. If you telnet to port 23 it's not difference it the same as TE. If it lets you login in as anything it should allow root too.

Hi I have an s8700 multi-connect config and we are thinking about doing QOS. Is it necessary or smart to use network regions and if so what role does address mapping play? From a corparate WAN/LAN the voice equipment is on it's own vlan, so I guess my question is because I have over 25 EPNs...

Guys I am all set now. I did not realize that you still had to do a "change announcements" to add the extensions and names even after I had FTP the wave files and could see them in the /annc/ directory on the VAL board. THANKS.
