That appears to be for Windows 2000, IIS 5.0 with Certificate server.
I am using IIS4.0 running on Winnt 4.0, do I need to purchase a server SSL certificate from Verisign? I am unsure.

I have been trying to get some email addresses working in outlook 2003 via pop3.
When configured in outlook 2003, I try to send a test email and I get the error:
"send test email message: outlook could not logon to the outgoing mail server (SMTP). The problem could be the server...
Also, make sure you check your logs:
"red hat (start button) > System tools > system logs.
Check "mail log" and see what is happening to your mail, if its leaving the box and not making it into the users mailboxes, make sure you check your exchange server's IMC logs.

Take a backup and check out your "sendmail.mc" file, there should be a line "SMART_HOST:" towards the top, enter your exchange servers FQDN - i.e. "mail.myexchangeserver.com"
Save and load a command shell:
[root@local]# m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc /etc.mail/sendmail.cf
